one snake, two snake, red snake, blue snake. will they never end?

caulked sky-lights on our double-wide yesterday. one is doing great. one is still leaking. have to go up again. terrible rain.

eeek! saw another snake today.

added two chatboards about making tea. think i'll go have a cup right now.

weeded iris/chokecherry tree garden. turned rock over, saw snake! had teen-aged son look but couldn't find it. made him finish weeds.

whew! i'm saying that a lot. made homemade pizza and rhubarb pie today. that kept me busy the whole afternoon. read the chatboard.

gardening tip: soak bare root trees and flower bulbs for about 24 hours in plain water, then plant. they come up quicker and bigger.

transplanted most of the dumb day lillies. what a job! planted a grape vine and some onion sets. next, soak and plant bulbs.

whew. just got back from visiting grandma and uncle bob on long island, half-way across the country. getting our house back in order now

the pictures i have on my site are of us in england. our youngest son was born there are we took him back for a visit at christmas.
